My Yosemite Tree–Oops
2. February 2009 by David.

This is My Yosemite Tree. I have a Lake Yosemite Duck that I may share with you sometime. Anyway, I just like this tree. So I thought I’d share. However……
When taking landscape pictures I will often us a polarizing filter to bring out the sky. Unfortunately it sometimes has a unwanted effect, such as turning the snow blue. I used some “post editing” to bring down the blue and get a more realistic photo. In this case I should have measured twice and ………. You understand.

Bridalveil Creek-Get ready
2. February 2009 by David.

This was taken last spring in Yosemite Valley at Bridalveil Creek. I used a tripod and a longer exposure to blur the water and get this wonderful effect. Most cameras will have a setting that will give you a little longer exposure. Check your manual and then head up to your favorite river or creek. It’s just about that time and there isn’t much snowpack so don’t wait too long.
