Water drops on a flower petal
31. March 2009 by Friedhelm.
I had to photograph with my old 4X5 camera this morning. The sprinklers went off to water the lawn and I saw a lot of water drops on the flowers. They reflected beautifully in the morning light.
Enjoy

Reflections
27. March 2009 by Friedhelm.
This week I had to take my daughter to the dentist. While she had her exam I decided to wander around the dentist office to find something to photograph. Sure enough I found these water drops that got my attention. I got several great shot. Always take a camera with you. Sometimes great opportunities occur!
Happy shooting.

I Love New York
26. March 2009 by Friedhelm.
There are moments that you will never forget. One of them is making it to the top of the Empire State building and seeing New York at night. I was told that there are 14000 people on an average day at this New York icon. The price for admission is in my opinion steep but when you are up there you forget about money and just enjoy the view.
Happy shooting

Train Buff
23. March 2009 by David.

If you’re a train buff you know what this is. If not hopefully an interesting still life. It’s actually part of the running gear on Engine 47 of the Nevada Northern Railroad, one of the stops on my vacation last year. My brother, Jim and I actually got to run the train for a short while. Even have a certificate to prove it.

The Cactus is blooming
23. March 2009 by Friedhelm.
Our cactus started to bloom. I could not resist to get my camera out. In this case I used my viewfinder camera as a lens for my DSLR. The connector was relatively cheap and it is a great tool for macro photography. I am always amazed that the 50+ year old lens produces such a great image.
Enjoy and keep on shooting!

Chowchilla’s Alley’s
22. March 2009 by David.

Another photo I like, the muted colors, lines and overall feel of the photo. It was taken while I was trecking up one of Chowchilla’s alleys.

Todays winds reminded me of …….
Anyway, this was taken at Carmen Neffs (The Windmill Man) here in Chowchilla. If you like windmills he’s the man to see and a very gracious host .
