Two kinds of Oak!

Besides the wonderful wildflowers I found this interesting tree beside the trail along the South Merced River. If you go, expect a very good hike, but well worth it. Lots of ups and downs, plus the trail is only about a yard wide in many places with a near shear drop off. And by the way if you didn’t know what poison oak looks like, here it is. Notice the nice oily surface. The trail itself is pretty much clear of the stuff.
