Alcatraz

I was looking for a good place to photograph Alcatraz. I know what I did not want. I did not want to stay somewhere at the shore and take an image of Alcatraz that was flat and boring. I needed something that shows distance and perspective. My wife suggested For Mason. While we were hiking up the little hill I looked through the trees and saw the sail boat. That was my shot. The trees provided a natural frame and the boat gave me the perspective I was looking for.
