Smokey Sunset
30. June 2009 by David.
Fires can be devastating. However as a photographer they can be inspiring and beautiful. This was taken from Turtle Rock in the Big Trees National Park. The Forest Service was letting a lightning strike fire burn and that allowed me to get this great sunset. There were about twenty people in the area and none left until after dark. Surpising to me was I was the only photographer.
