Complimentary Colors

One of my photography teachers once made a point telling me that the background is often more important than the subject. In this image I tried to match the two yellow petunias with a purple background flower. Since the macro lens has a relatively small depth of field the trumpet vine really shines. To top the effect I created a purple frame.
