Full Moon over Shasta Lake
14. August 2009 by David.
Last Wednesday there was a full moon and I happened to be on the road traveling to my brothers house. As I drove over the I-5 bridge at Bridge Bay I knew I had to find some way to get a shot of the moon rising over Lake Shasta. It took a little maneuvering but I finally found the spot. To bad the lake was so low because of the drought.

The Residenz in Munich
14. August 2009 by Friedhelm.
The Residenz is the palace of the Wittelsbach family, the former Monarchs of Bavaria. Today it is a museum. This is one of the prettiest castles I have ever seen and a must to see if you are in Munich. There are elements of at least four architectural styles in the Residenz, Renaissance, Baroque, Rococo and Classicism. I was unable to use a tripod therefor I had to use ISO 800, f4 at 1/100s.
Happy Photographing!
