Reflection at Lake Yosemite

photoblog-day-162.jpg

While David and I were waiting for the full moon to appear another photo opportunity came up. (Sometimes it really pays to turn around!) Sunset had already happened but the red light in the background created this beautiful reflection. I used a super wide angle lens (Sigma 15-30 at 20mm, f22, 30sec, ISO 100) and captured lot of “negative” space above the treas and the reflection in the water. For a while I considered to crop the image above the tree line. In my opinion the image would loose in quality. what do you think?

Happy shooting and if you can do it with another photographer. It is always fun!
