9-11 remembered
11. September 2009 by Friedhelm.
I visited New York in 2007 and I will never forget the impression of being at a place where almost 3,000 people have been murdered. I created a collage out of three images. There is the subway sign that still refers to the Word Trade Center, the uniform of a firefighter and the table inside the church that was almost miraculously saved from destruction. On the table you see the pictures of many lost lives. 9-11-2001 is definitely a defining moment in my life and I decided that I don’t want to life by fear.
With deep respect for the victims families and all the rescue workers
