Chowchilla Car Show

Every year the Chowchilla District Chamber of Commerce sponsors a car show. While I was supposed to be working I did take a little time off to snap a few photographs. These cars were beautiful with their perfect paint, restored interiors and of course lots of chrome. I used this particular chrome hubcap like a fisheye lens to capture the car next to it. Telephoto lens set at 40mm, 1/5o sec. at f10, handheld.

My Garage

Here is one of my submissions for the photo clubs ‘what’s in your garage’. I have accumulated a lot of excess computer parts over the years and collected (intentionally) several old typewriters. I like the juxtaposition of the two.
I shot these on my kitchen table with two daylight flourescent bulbs and silver umbrellas. F11, 1/3 second.
