Golden Oaks

I just spent a couple of days in the Mt. Shasta area helping my brother. Not much time to photograph. The leaves on the trees are really changing up there and to paraphrase ‘the hills are alive with color’ . Now is some of the best time to photograph with the foliage changing and waterfowl starting their migration. So charge those batteries and keep your camera handy.

Avocados

Currently I am reading the “Daybooks of “Edward Weston.” Westen photographed peppers and other vegetables with his large format camera. He inspired me to tremendously and I decided to open our refrigerator door to look for proper subjects. I found two avocados that I arranged carefully and photographed several times. This is one of the images I like. Enjoy!
