U C Merced

Friedhelm and I went to the University of California- Merced last night for a short photo shoot. As usual with us he went one way and I another and didn’t really see each other until it was time to leave. It is the first time that I have actually visited the very beautiful campus. If you’re nearby I suggest you do the same or probably any nearby campus.
This is a large sculpture on the campus grounds. The white specs aren’t dust but the stars and planets in the background. The lighting was from nearby streetlights and buildings, the sculpture itself wasn’t illuminated.
