Dogwood in red
27. October 2009 by Friedhelm.
I photographed this image at the Ahwahnee hotel lawn. The leaves on this dogwood tree create a beautiful contrast to the deep blue sky. I looked for other dogwood trees in the area and the other trees are just in the beginning of turning. There should be more dogwoods in bright red next week-end. Camera setting: 180mm, f5, 1/500sec, ISO 100, tripod mounted. I also used a golden reflector on the leaves.
Enjoy!
