The moon and Half Dome.
1. November 2009 by David.
I went to Yosemite to photograph some of the fall colors. While there I realized that the moon would be rising over Half Dome. It’s a long story, but I ended up at Glacier Point, about an hour from Yosemite Valley. Here are a couple of photographs of the moon rise. Next month when this happens there may be snow, hmmmm…

The beauty of fall
1. November 2009 by Friedhelm.
There are hardly any words to describe the beauty of Fall in central California. A picture does indeed speak a 1000 words. The first picture was photographed in Jamestown, CA, the second in Merced. Go out and photograph! You have to wait a year before this beauty is seen again!
