McHenry Mansion in Modesto, CA
7. January 2010 by Friedhelm.
Yesterday we did a short trip to Modesto, CA. I was hoping to see the McHenry Mansion still decorated for Christmas and I was lucky. The entrance to the Mansion is free and there are friendly docents around that are more than willing to explain the history of the building. If you are in Modesto, please visit it. It is definitely worth if. Both images are photographed with a 15-30mm wide angle lens on a full frame camera. I strongly recommend the use of a super wide angle lens if you would like to photograph inside the building. They allow the use of a tripod but no flash.
Enjoy!
