Lake and Mount Shasta
30. March 2010 by Friedhelm.
We started our photographic day at 5:30 AM driving from our motel in Redding, CA to Lake Shasta dam. Security checked my photography back and then we were allowed to walk across the dam. The good news is that after years of drought the Lake is about 85% full. I shot this image after sunrise from a higher point. I used a Canon 70-200L lens at 200mm focal length. In addition I cropped the image so the actual focal length is hard to determine. Camera setting: f22, 1/50sec., ISO 100
