Dogwood

I photographed this red Dogwood at St. Mary’s College in Moraga, CA. In the beginning of April the dogwood starts to bloom in the Valley and four to six weeks later it starts to bloom in Yosemite, NP. This is a fine example how important the background in a photograph is. The blue color lets the red colors shine. Camera setting: f5.0, 1/80sec.,ISO400.
