Beautiful Water
7. May 2010 by David.
The Mc Cloud River in Northern California holds lots of visual delights, from several falls to fast water. Here is one I like.
I like the lines and the contrast between the hardness of the rocks and soft flowing water. Can’t you almost feel the texture of the volcanic rock!

Bird’s eye view of Yosemite Valley
7. May 2010 by Friedhelm.
I photographed this image from the edge of the mountain. It took me a while to overcome my fear of heights. You see the Merced river and Hwy. 140 in the bottom of the image. On the top left you see Hwy. 120. Camera setting: Focal length 70mm, f18, 1/60sec. ISO 100.
Enjoy!
