Flower in the wind

We are having a strange weather pattern in California this year. When I photographed the flowers on the “Farm” (Stanford University campus is called the “Farm”) it was relatively cold and windy. I had no tent with me and I wanted to photograph this beautiful poppy that was surrounded by an ocean of other flowers. I cranked up the ISO to 400, used f8 at 200mm at 1/125 of a sec.
Enjoy and if you are in the San Francisco Bay Area, take the short trip to Stanford University. There is so much to see and photograph on the “Farm.”
