Gerbera in a Vase
13. July 2010 by Friedhelm.
We got some flowers yesterday and I isolated this Gerbera by putting it in a new vase. The blue vase and the red flower are complimentary. By moving the entire subject to the left I created even more dynamic in this composition. I used two strobes to create this composition. The first light comes from the upper right and the second light from the lower left behind the flower. This light setting creates a nice show inside the flower. Notice also the the white on the left gradually turns into a light gray adding to the dynamic of the picture. The frame around it is also created to support the overall structure of this image.
Enjoy!
