Leopard Lily

I photographed this beautiful plant in north of San Francisco. Unfortunately there was a wind blowing and I to try several shot to get a good image. Camera setting: 200mm focal length, 12mm extension tube, f5.0, 1/50sec. -1, ISO 200

Protected Beauty

I wonder how long this flower would last if it didn’t have the spines of the cactus to protect it. The cactus was huge and this was the only flower on it. Well off the ground and among a cluster of spiny cacti.
