I took this image from the top of the “Vogtland Arena” in the small town of “Klingenthal” at the German Czech border. This modern ski ramp can be used even if there is no snow on the ground. For more info go to http://www.vogtland-arena.de/.

I shot this image from the top of the arena using my 70-200 lens which delivered a great image considering the speed of the ski jumper. Enjoy and keep on photographing!

Quedlinburg is a very nice medieval town at the north rim of the Harz mountains in northern Germany. There is an old Romanesque church and fortress on a hill from which I shot this image.

I’m not one for major photo manipulation, but I think this is just cool.

This is called the Droste Effect and is a plugin filter for Photo Shop. I saw it on the web and just had to try and copy it. The web video was about 7 min long. It took me just a tag longer, yes that was sarcasm. I tried several different items, this flower and a clock worked very well. Some stuff just turned out bad.

Learned that if I do much more of this I’m going to need a faster graphics card. Any suggestions?

I photographed the TV Tower in Berlin at sunset. The tower is the fourth tallest tower in Europe (1,207 feet) and is actually built during the communist time in former East Berlin.
