Rahilly Park
28. November 2011 by Friedhelm.
It was a little bit of foggy this morning so I decided to take a walk through Rahilly Park in Merced. The light was beautiful soft and I got this shot.

Fog in the City
25. November 2011 by Friedhelm.
The fog was hanging on and my family was complaining about it. I just loved it. The light was soft and I could shoot some very nice images, like this one.

TV Tower in Berlin, Germany
22. November 2011 by Friedhelm.
I photographed the TV Tower in Berlin at sunset. The tower is the fourth tallest tower in Europe (1,207 feet) and is actually built during the communist time in former East Berlin.

Fall in Stendal
9. November 2011 by Friedhelm.
Stendal is a small town west of Berlin. It is definitely worth a visit if you like to photograph old buildings. I photographed this walkway right in front of the city dome.
Enjoy and happy photographing!

Cars in Merced
26. October 2011 by Friedhelm.
I wanted to photograph buildings in Merced and most of the time cars got into my composition so I finally decided to purposely integrate them in my composition. The image is the result of that effort.

Chowchilla Reflection
6. October 2011 by Friedhelm.
Robinson Blvd is the main street in Chowchilla, CA. It is also the street of tall palm trees that you can see from afar. I saw the palm trees reflected in the water during the photo walk last Sunday and decided to take a shot.
Enjoy and keep on photographing!

Fountain at the Embarcadero
28. September 2011 by Friedhelm.
The fountain was created by the Canadian Sculptor Armand Vaillancourt in 1971 and is located at the Embarcadero Center in San Francisco. Vaillancourt named it “Quebec libre” to support the freedom movement in his own town. You can read the history at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Armand_Vaillancourt.

Oakland Bay Bridge
17. September 2011 by Friedhelm.
I had the opportunity to be in San Francisco last night and my plan was to photograph the skyscrapers in the financial district during sunset. The Oakland Bay bridge was “just” a side product. Technically this image was created using three exposures and combining them in Photomatix pro. In addition I created several layers to fine tune the image.
Enjoy and happy photographing!

I was on my way to the Botanical Garden in Tilden Park, located on the East side of Berkeley, CA, when I saw the fog rolling into San Francisco. I had to stop and photograph.
