I took my bubble water mixture with me this morning when I was heading out of town (Merced, CA) to photograph at Lake Yosemite. While the sun was peeking through I created some bubbles on a able and I photographed the reflection of the trees and the rising sun using a 180mm macro lens.
I love to photograph after a freh rain. Usually the air is crisp and the light is great for photographing in the streets. I used a 200mm prime lens and photographed at f3.5 to get a very shallow depth of field.
During the second part of our camping trip a low pressure system moved through and it was raining on and off. I got up early in the morning and for a short period of time the sunlight peeked through. This was my opportunity to create this image!
There were still a few clouds hanging around yesterday morning. So I went out to Rahilly park in Merced, CA to see if I am able to get an interesting image. I overexposed the image and brought down the highlights in post production.
